Professors Baraniuk and Massoud awarded DARPA grant

Professor Richard Baraniuk and Professor Yehia Massoud have been awarded a grant totaling $4 million from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).
Dr. Baraniuk, the Victor E. Cameron Professor of Electrical & Computer Engineering, will serve as the principal investigator. Dr. Yehia Massoud, Associate Professor of Electrical & Computer Engineering and Computer Science, directs the Rice Automated Nanoscale Design Group (RAND). Collaborators include the University of Michigan, Caltech, and Applied Signal Technology.
